I thought the depiction of The Last Supper was very inappropriate and insulting to Christians. Who on earth approved this crazy program? I don't think the modeling show & parade of drag queens, & strange cross dressers appeals to the majority of citizens. Personally, I am sick to death of men parading around mocking women with their "expression" and "art." It's similar to black face - which has no place in ANY culture. And for a family event, it was more than disappointing. It was in very poor taste. I'm hoping it will never be repeated. I would be angry if I had paid hundreds of Euros & waited in long lines. I would think participants had huge swaths of time where they couldn't see any performances (and how bad some of it was, they didn't miss anythin). The metal horse traveling down the Seine & bored looking athletes carrying the "flame" went on way too long. Overall, highly disappointing. Money badly spent.
