The plot, character development, acting, and dialogue all feel like they're nerfed so that a young child (think 6-10) can watch it and understand. This makes the show extremely cringy and difficult to relate with for someone who is used to Marvel putting out shows like Loki and Wandavision.
I want to be a Marvel nerd. I want to watch everything Disney puts out to world build in phase 4, but I'm honestly forgetting to watch new episodes. I would have never have lost interest like this with Loki or Wandavision. As of episode 4, I'm consciously choosing to opt out of watching the rest of a Marvel series because it was clearly made for the same demographic as The Amanda Show.
Changed the review to 1 star since I can't think of a good reason to give it two. It plays on diversity, but in a way that is so blatant and manufactured that it jumps the shark. No subtlety, no finesse.
