This is one of the major sources of news for me and I have recommended it to friends who are having problems by being screamed at by news reporters they agree with at other stations.
Among the things I like about the News Hour is the drive to get the facts correct and to present the debates that are reigning among professionals (i.e. health) and politicians. Although I don't particularly want to hear "the other side", I find that over time, I understand their point of view better.
I appreciate the courage of the reporters. Most notably in this regard is Yamiche Alcindor who has been unfairly attacked and abused by this racist and uncouth President. I admire her for not giving up and going back day after day.
Mostly I appreciate the stewardship of Judy Woodruff. Whether she is introducing "Politics Monday" or introducing a Jeffery Brown story, I am comforted by the way in which the difficult pieces are often balanced by pieces that appeal to "our better angels" and sense of solidarity. Yes, we will get through this together. Thank you for your integrity and compassion.
