Dork Angel (Dork Angel)

Finally got to see Alita: Battle Angel and I was not disappointed. Cracking film. The cgi is amazing, as are the action sequences. The story draws you in and the world has a history to it giving it a really solid feel. The characters are interesting, motivated and well acted. Alita herself is superb and has an innocence and vulnerability about her which really contrasts the violence she can unleash. I found Ghost In The Shell a bit soul-less but this film has real heart. Highly recommended.

It was harrowing, scary and unpleasant at times but the story it told surpassed the first. The graphics were superb and the characters well acted. The gameplay fitted the story and transitions from cutscene to actual play blended really well. Quick time events were cut to the bare minimum to progress the story. All in all it was f****** awesome but I don't think I could handle playing more than once.
