One of the really great old movies, back when stereotypes didn't mean hatred or ill will; when almost everyone knew you didn't copy behavior from movies. People understood that movies were a fantasy and fights ending in friendship seldom happened. If you're adult enough to realize these things, you'll enjoy this movie. If you think John Wayne giving Maureen O'Hara a comedic kick in pants is a license to abuse women (which nobody did when this was made), you won't like it. And you shouldn't be allowed to watch movies at all.
