The cast being mostly women is great, but don't forget that a good story and character development are still critical components to a successful show. This story is slow, boring and confusing. No one knows why these characters do what they do. What's their motivation? ALSO, It seems to me that if you didn't watch the animated show "The Clone Wars", you won't fully understand the character's motivations.
