its a really good movie, but at the time of release which was like 7 years ago, people did not appreciate the movie and it was unsuccessful. i think the movie was simply ahead of this time. it was released in 2014, and during that time all telugu cinemas followed a certain pattern. some comedy, romance, then some problems that get fixed by hero, then again reuniting at the end. but this movie wasnt like that. along with the normal pattern, it included a unique plot. people at that time disliked the movie only because it was too confusing, and did not follow the fixed pattern all telugu movies did at that time, which was extremely predictable. as i said the movie was just ahead of its time. if it was released now, same plot, it would definetely be a success, as telugu cinema has changed drastically, allowing directors to think out of the box, just like the director did with this movie. i heard that the director actually had 2 scripts, one which just made the whole movie like an intelluctual one, just mystery and suspense, and one in which there was some relevance with telugu cinema pattern, with emotions, comedy, etc, and the director opted for that one thinking its what people expected, and he was right, but people expected full on emotions and drama, which this movie complied to but in a totally different way than anyone would expect. so maybe thats why it got too mixed up, as audiences did not really understand how to percieve the movie, as a light-hearted romance and comedy like most movies in that time or a suspense/thriller. another thing is that people at that time watched movies for plain entertainment, especially in telugu cinema. but to understand the complex and unique plot of nenokkidine, people needed to actually use their thinking skills, but there was no need for that in normal telugu movies at that timemaybe that leaded to the failure, but if u ask me its still an amazing movie. good to see that people atleast now are appreaciating the movie, even 7 years later.
