I truly had high hopes for this show. But, it seems a little lackluster and slow moving. The reasons given for the families moving to Africa aren't conveyed as being concrete or plausible, aside from the single mom whose fantasy is finding her "African King", oh and opening a healing center; and the comedy family that want to make a lot of money by opening a comedy club there. I am amazed that these families don't seem to have done much research on the pros/cons of moving to Africa, let alone didn't have more realistic expectations of life in a developing country.
