I read this book a year or two ago and it still bothers me. I felt that the girl group antagonists were shallow characters when they had major potential to seem super unique. I’m appalled that the protagonist was meant to be mid-20s because she was such an infuriatingly highschool level moaner, all she did was complain. Genuinely it seemed more fun to be part of the bunnies instead of in this woman’s head. And I might be biased for this next point because i hate unclear plots & metaphors, but what the bunnies represented felt so.. confusing, vague. The ending even more so. Does anything improve for Samantha at all? Does this book have a message worth reading?
I picked this up because I love teen girl drama and I love horror-like aspects. but this was disappointing.
