I gave a 2 to be fair because I've never actually gotten through an episode. As a fan of the books, I can't stand the portrayal of the characters. I guess if I'd never read the books I could give it a try but I love the books and I'm disappointed.

This deserves more than a thumbs down. People, especially black men are victims of the system everyday and leave loving families behind killing themselves trying to get justice. Not something I I really want to see since it happens so often but it could have at least been interesting to watch. The cast did their part but this choppy boring portrayal was annoying, slow and I feel like I wasted my evening watching it.
