Two hours of life we left behind. This was so full of stupid people doing all the stupid things! The writing was absolutely terrible. The story was so missing. Nothing made sense and I found myself yelling at the screen throughout the movie. Netflix continues to disappoint. Probably will just scratch all their movies off my list. And also- this is the full text of my review and Google said they were taking it down for profanity??? There are literally no profane words in this review.

Visually beautiful and well done but the storyline was terrible and so boring. There were many side plots introduced and then just abandoned. Definitely not worth 3 hours and I’m glad we got a matinee price. When I hear there will be 3 more after this one I’ll admit I will likely pass on them. So many times I actually laughed at what was supposed to be serious because it was just lame.

I could have slept through it and enjoyed it more. Very slow, and the action seen in the preview was such a small part of this plodding sand-filled snooze fest. We very much wanted to like it but it needed serious editing. And a sequel? No thanks.
