Metroid Prime was my first Gamecube game and other than playing Super Metroid when I was four, my introduction to the Metroid franchise. The game is incredible. It captures the feel of Metroid perfectly and transfers that feel perfectly into a three dimensional setting. The Gamecube controls take a little getting used to but after an hour you can control Samus with amazing precision. If you've never played this game you are doing yourself an incredible disservice. One of the best Metroid games and one of the best games Nintendo has ever published. Period.
