Let me first say that I have been a Wes Anderson fan from the start (Bottle Rocket, Rushmore, Royal Tenenbaums). Also great was Moonrise Kingdom. Life Aquatic was good. But this film was excruciating. I wanted to walk out halfway through, but I stayed figuring it would pick up and get better. I figured wrong. One of the worst films I've ever seen (and I watch everything from the 1930s to the present). A total train wreck.
