I did not enjoy the dog dying. Thomas Hayden Church's mental illness depiction was fine, but his dog Migo's death at the hand of hunters was my justification for turning the movie off. The relationship between daughter and father was okay, but it did not require the dog's death to get our attention is a salacious manner.
