I thought my wife had dragged me to another sappy Christmas story. Not so, the characters were believable and the story thought provoking. Quite a twist in it that I never saw coming. Well worth watching.

Very good disaster movie with a decent story, good acting, and lots of well done visual effects. Should keep you on the edge of your chair.

What a complete and ridiculous waste of time and money. If there is a plot in this mess the director does his very best to conceal it. The actors won’t give any clue as to what is going on as their voices are often deliberately garbled. Lots of fighting, but who is fighting who and why is left to your imagination.

Renee Zellweger did an excellent job of portraying Judy In the late part of Judy’s career. However the movie was slow moving, tedious and disheartening. The flashbacks always negative. Surely there must have been some bright spots in a career that was that successful. Surely the great performances that defined Judy was not completely driven by drugs and abuse. The film wasted an opportunity to show Judy’s greatness and talent.

Lots of action but it had huge holes in the plot.

It was entertaining in that there was lots of action and it actually had a bit of a plot. I’m not sure why they had to make the body count so high or the final gunfight so unrealistic.

The story line is a little unrealistic, but it gives the viewer an opportunity to see what the soldiers saw in that awful war. Total destruction on a horrific scale. It sends a very clear message to everyone who watches, we need to make every effort we can to steer clear of any such engagement. The special effects and commitment to detail really puts the viewer in the action.

The movie had a great plot, was well directed and the actors were excellent. Highly amusing.

The singing was great, the dancing fabulous, the costumes terrific and the acting wonderful. I don’t see how it could be any better. I’m really starting to lose faith in critics.

The film gives a real good overview of Elton’s music and how great it is. We also get a real good look at his flaws, strengths, disappointments and victories. If you like popular music this movie is a must see.
