Definitely nothing like the original and does not even come close to doing the original any justice what so ever! As expected and anticipated they used pits and pieces from the original movie part 2 and 3 and tried to turn it into a new movie! Unfortunately it’s a very disappointing movie, it was far from scary and very predictable from the get go. No thought or effort in making this a unique, new and exciting horror movie and reboot of the franchise was made. A poor attempt of using the originals cult status to get people to watch this garbage. The director and producers clearly are not the right fit for this franchise and they need to call in someone with experience otherwise this franchise is doomed right from the start! My advise is stick with the original if you have seen it I highly recommend it! I am 59 years old and watched it so many times it still gives me the chills and creeps to this day!
