Dark. Which is often just fine. Grim, which seldom is. It was entertaining, in a slow-moving kind of way, for the first few episodes. But after that, the sullen characters, long fraught silences, and unpleasant relationships got old fast. Want a better, Celtic series? Go for Shetland.
