Very enlightening and so realistic in the way Tammy Faye is played. I remember when all of this was happening so it is a chance to see the multiple layers of Tammy Faye that were so unknown at the time -- all of the various layers, not just the publicity -- good and bad. If nothing else it gives the perception that she really did have a love of God and she like everyone else, made mistakes. We are human after all.

Having been the unfortunate receiver of three surgeries on my spine that has left me taking pain meds of one kind or another for the past 20 years, walking with a limp when I can walk, terrible pins and needles in my leg, numbness from thigh to toe on the other -- this show should have been made at least 25 years ago. It is grounded in reality in terms of the ops and the outcomes that can happen but the "unfortunate" thing is that I didn't have a dr death, no mine was/is Dr. Wonderful whose name I cannot mention for fear of certain lawsuits! Great show that opens a new line into reality television -- expose more of these people, we all know there is not only ONE dr. death or dr. mistake maker -- now thats some reality we could really use in this day and age. Good for you guys at the Peacock, great series that just may save a life one day.

I fail to understand those of whom can say anything "bad" about this film. It most certainly makes one think and see both sides of the issue in policing and the loss of our young black men at their hands. As is often said, there are two sides to every tale and the truth lies somewhere in the middle -- in this film the truth IS right there to see and absorb, that is if you are willing to do so.

WOW -- If the show continues as the first season ended, its something to look forward to every week -- I usually wait until series end so I can watch them all back-to-back. Cant do that with this one, gotta get it while its hot and it seems to be hot all the time.
