Steve Chaka

Not much Karate, mostly Kung Fu. Daniel was barely in it. The genre was confusing. Was it a Jackie Chan style fighting movie with a comedic element or was it a more serious movie where proper fighting was unvolved? I think the writers tried to merge the two Karate kid movies by the "one tree, two branches" concept. It failed for me. The final fight was obvious. We knew how it would end before it ended. I love Jackie Chan so seeing him was the highlight.

I love Rambo. It was ok. Some good scenes but there was something missing from the movie to make it a good movie. Maybe it needed slowing down; an extra 20 minutes of character building, not sure. It seemed a little like the movie Taken but nowhere near as good. Not sure why he had short hair. He looked too much like Sylvester Stallone rather than Rambo. Killing scenes were good and the death of his niece was sad. I give it a 6.5
