I fail to understand what the 21% of people who didn't like this book or didn't give it five stars were reading? Clearly it wasn't the same book as I was reading. Few stories could ever get any better than this one.

A really excellent book with regard to manufacturing of plastic construction kits and the manufacturers themselves. Some great photography and tips on auto modelling, although some of it now be a little out of date, just because materials and techniques have changed over the years, however this doesn't undermine the value of this book. The only puzzling thing I found in the list of kit manufacturers being the absence of Bandai, which made a good range of model car kits and for some reason is not mentioned.

A view of this world as if had just arrived and were unrestrained in by the human condition. Free to do things differently and what a defence you can make!

One of the best book you will read, very strong female characters. All of the Western/cowboy clichés come from this novel. All of Zane Greys work have good and believable cast members. If you have seen the Film of this novel please read the book, it is far and away better.

It is hard to fault this book it has slipped into my number one spot with such ease. On finishing it I went straight back to the beginning and started again

Not for prudes! Other wise fabulous.
