As a longtime series fan, Yakuza 3 gets an unfair wrap. The sidecontent is forgettable but Kiryu becomes a more rounded character. Mine makes for a compelling and surprisingly sympathetic antagonist. For me, this is very much a Chang Cheh/John Woo inspired entry and all the better for it imo.

Shite - inconsistent, dull, self-indulgent tripe. I miss GH/SB/Independent Fu flicks, they were almost all entertaining.
