I love this movie. The acting, and script is great. The only thing I didnt like was the fact that the mom was trying to tell the father about all the creepy stuff their newly adopted daughter was doing and he didnt believe her and thought she had started drinking again.

So let’s start by saying this movie is terrible, the acting is okay, but the story line/plot is stupid and so confusing. Obviously it’s on Netflix top 10 because of the gorgeous shirtless speedo wearing man in the beginning. Girl comes home from camp to her mom having a new boo, girl is already not fond of the guy and he tries to hard to be liked. The mom for some reason lies about her age to the guy? The girl talks about a date that’s supposed to mean something about the moms father but that’s it so no real explanation to why it’s so important, then the girl goes on a boat with the boyfriend starts her period he grabs her down there and licks his bloody fingers. Girl(Libby) has her friend come over the next day tells her what happened on the boat so her friend goes to talk to the mom and then all of the sudden friend is gone and Libby is asleep? The bf turns into some kind of sea monster? The mom is brainwashed and pregnant? So many questions! No real answers. My guess the bf wanted to breed. The ending is awful. The entire movie makes you question every little thing. Don’t waste your time.

This movie is absolutely amazing. I loved every bit of it.
