This movie featuring Diljit Dosanjh's performance as Chamkila is a must-watch. His portrayal of the character is impeccable, and he has done complete justice to it. I must say, Imtiaz Ali has outdone himself with this movie. The way he has presented the story is remarkable and it clearly highlights the double standards that people had in the past and still have today. Even in today's world, people are not open-minded enough to accept an artist like Chamkila. This movie is a perfect representation of how society's narrow-mindedness can hinder progress and growth of an individual.
