THE FIRST 4 SEASONS WERE AMAZING. But, after Freak show it started going downhill from there. Hotel was still good but Roanoke, Cult, Acopolapse and this new one fail to impress. What made the first 4 seasons so good and even Hotel to some extent was the brilliant cast and writing. Those stories were captivating and offered such mind bending twists and turns. Fans were always drawn back to see how the story would unfold. Also, a big draw was the music. These latest plots are lacking in imagination and the essence of the show is gone. It seems like it's just pure shock value now. I mean this latest 1984 season is basically just a slasher film. I can watch 80's horror movies for that. Plus, All the original cast is gone now.
