Despite the negative perception and criticism of the casting of Ariel, if you close your eyes I truly believe you would love the film. Halle Bailey put on an amazing performance. Awkwafina stole the show as the seabird. Melissa McCarthy as Ursula and Javier Bardem as the mermaid king were outstanding as well. Beautiful movie!!!
