I wouldn't say the story is great but it's definitely not a pointless movie such as one without a plot etc.
However, I'm writing this review for one reason: THE SETTING!
The setting is remarkable! The main characters (a couple) are on their trip to see Northern Lights and the view is spectacular. Have you ever felt the coziness of a rainy night, where it's so cold outside but you're in the comfort of your home, wrapped up in a nice, thick blanket, drinking a hot cup of tea or coffee, while watching the rain drops, listening to the wind and rain? Watching the movie feels like that because you're watching the scene of extreme cold weather from the outside and it's almost like you can feel the icy wind on your skin.
I absolutely love the parts of the movie where they are in a tent & a cabin!!
It's comfortable even when it feels so vulnerable to be out there when someone/something is after you. The cabin gives off a safespace vibes because there could be anything around them, but for the time being, they are safe and that's all that matters. The thrill to be exposed without knowing who is watching your every move while trying to hide out kept me glued. I live in a tropical country but I swear I could feel the chilly wind when I watched it- it's a must-watch for the setting itself!
The story is fine, there are loopholes in the plot and some unnecessary obstacles but the overall suspense is good. I like Nadja's character- she's courageous and decisive. She fears nothing even tho she's in a vulnerable state. I would recommend you watch it on a rainy night- just make sure to have a warm blanket next to you! :p
