A very good album. Classic Elyon John/ Bernie Taupin work.
From the famous first to the end, the music is good to great. Many of the songs are deeply moving.
I'd recommend this work to anyone.

One of the best anti war movies, this film is loosely based on actual events.
Kurt Douglas does a great job as a an officer who objects to a mission by the French army that is all but suicide.
There is little effort to glamorize the situation. it's presented in all the gory madness of war.
It's worth watching if only to learn the futility of war. That's not to say war is always wrong. Certainly there are times when a nation must defend itself. But war should never be looked upon with patriotic glee.
