A great series - but what a pity the BBC never released it as a dvd nor does it stream anywhere. This is such a stupid waste as this program, especially the special on the British Museum’s top ten treasures, was really excellent and engaging - it deserves to be made accessible to the archaeology loving public again.

A film which seems to perpetrate cruelty, theft, dishonesty, ingratitude, violence and self entitlement as the things children should aspire to. Anything to get ahead. Why is that? The only thing that made it watchable were the performances of the British cast wasted on one of the most inappropriate and morally dubious films I have ever seen pushed as “entertainment” for kids.
