I am a devoted viewer of 60 minutes and have been watching for over 20 years. However I was somewhat disturbed when I listened to Scott Pelley’s interview with President Biden. I enjoyed the interview but I wonder why Mr. Pelley frequently addresses President Biden as “Mr Biden”. We do not address Senators as Mr. or Mrs. so and so or medical doctors as Mrs.or Mr. therefore I feel that whomever holds the presidential office has earned the right to be addressed as “Mr. President “at all times. I also have heard 60 minutes correspondence refer to Donald Trump as “Mr President” far too frequently.
