It's an amazing book that really shows you a complicated side of human beings, especially it will be even better for those who are young or that allow themselves to meditate on their past issues. It depicts human relations in such a real perspective, it treats such forgotten topics, as depression, or how it is to love someone that goes through mental difficulties. It also faces in really brave manner something, that may be difficult for some to accept, that is how sex and love are part of the same thing, and that its part of us as humans, especially when we are young. Its far from any typical "Roman" that I've read it quite some time, and of course it's not for everyone, and if you have never face Murakami-sensei it could be difficult, but if you allow to take you into it, you'll find it's real value as a story.
