Brilliantly made although one had to indulge Nolan and get into (t)his ‘shared dream’. I am not sure why such an elaborate discussions on the ending - if Cobb is back was still in dream or in ‘shared reality’! Although his Totem wasn’t helpful, it is obvious that he remained in dream (his subjective reality) by the fact that those kids still looked the same age when he left them years ago! Once he was able to let go of Mel in Limbo, he was able to let go of his guilt of abandoning the children and allow himself to see their faces!!
