Chantale A Brosseau

I did not enjoy this film because it gave me nightmares, which were confirmed by the 1-star bot army in this film review. Being a singularly-minded folk, entirely dependent on our phones and GPS, makes us extremely easy to manipulate. So Leave the World Behind’s plot is terrifyingly plausible and probable. Just hoping the check & balance in place in our world will save us from ourselves. As for the film itself… I miss the image quality of yesteryears - even just 10 years ago. There’s a depth missing… for example: Predestination. Is it because subscription-based producers rush through the process? Actors are stellar, but there seems to be development…? something missing. This movie is simply disturbing, but misses the mark in making it into catastrophe-telling classics, imho.
