For those who gave low ratings just because the movie sort of portrait gun owners in a bad way, I am pretty sure you didn't even finish watching this. The director made it specific that gun owners or gun friendly policies are not the only problem. The media, the government and the big corporates also play a big part in gun violence or just social conflicts and issues happening in the states in general. He specifically used Canada as an example, showing that despite people do own guns and had easier access to ammunitions (in 2002), the rates of gun related violence are significantly lower compared to the states, because Canadian medias just don't plant hatred and fear in people's mind. Definitely think this documentary is worth watching, it came out 18 years ago, but a lot of the issues discussed in the film still exist in the American society, and rather than saying this film is anti-gun, it's more like a documentary that talks about gun violence ALONGSIDE a lot of other social issues that happened in the state at that time.
