Horrible. There is NO connection to the books other than the names of the characters. The sequence of characters entering the story line is completely off/ The Navajo culture is horribly misrepresented. I tried watching season 2 to see if it improved but found myself counting the number of commercials in the commercial breaks that took place every few minutes, Frequently there were 9-10 commercials in every break. If this keeps up, there won't even be an hour of viewing during the entire season. It is a shame that Tony and Anne Hillerman's wonderful books have been so mangled.
