This was probably the worst movie I’ve ever seen in my entire life. This movie is so anti-men that it’s sickening. I will say that Margo Robbie and Ryan Reynolds were great leads, but the script was just awful. I would rather watch any other movie in the entire world than this movie again. There is a difference between a movie being “made for girls” and being “anti-men.” Without a doubt it is anti-men. Personally I wouldn’t take my kids to it either. While Barbie may be considered a good role model, and make child will leave the theater wondering if it’s a bad thing that he is a male. Plus there were a few genitalia jokes that were pretty blatant. All in all, a waste of my time and money. A horrible, horrible movie. It is so bad, that I’m taking the time to write a review for it. Thor: Love and Thunder was bad, but not to the point where I went out of my way to come to google to prevent other people from seeing it. Also, the plot was all over the place! What was Barbie’s goal in the movie? I couldn’t tell you. At one point it was to save Barbie land, at one point it was to save some girl in the real world, and at another point it was about “ripping power out of the hands of men.” It was pretty tiresome to keep up with. Between the inconsistency in the plot, and the blatant “men are scum and women are perfect” themes, this movie actually gave me a literal headache. 0/10 if I could.
