The characters you were spose to like are that. But there are some points of bad tv. Fight thru it to enjoy the series as a whole. You can tell it wasn't originally made for Netflix. It has the CBS feel all over it. Pilot was probably all said and done. Then had to shop around. All opinion, no fact in those last statements.
