I can't fathom how this warrants any higher than 1 star. Clerks is an iconic film and part 2 was great as it had it's own direction and plot.
Clerks III served no purpose as the jokes were laboured, the plot was thin and at times the acting was just cringe. This was the equivalent of a sitcom running out of ideas so they just use a montage of old clips as a filler episode. I hate when sequels taint movies which otherwise would've been timeless classics. Clerks III is the Caravan of Courage of the Star Wars universe.
