On edge most of the time. Throwback to the main charater's childhood a little disconcerting, but comes together at the end. Those who jumped ship before the end of the third episode didn't do themselves any favours. Nice to go through a story in 3 episodes rather than 6. I will have to brush up on the Scottish accent; it was a little testing at times. However, very enjoyable.

I was quite disappointed in this movie. I thought we were back in the early years of the cinema when the film was in black and white. Surely, if one wants to portray the outback in all of its colourful glory, it should have gone beyond BLACK and WHITE!. Although there were obvious feelings of tension throughout the movie, it was often difficult to distinquish each character's tension because their physical actions and expressions merged into the black and white background . I also felt the film was spoiled by an unsatisfactory ending - the detective failed in his job! If I had known what the nearly two hours was going to be as it turned out, I would have not tuned in to the channel. PS. Just checked with my wife who voiced the same opinions.
