As a person who started playing from original Xbox game on, this show has really impressed me. I didn't think it would translate as well and come off as cheesy try hard money grab... I was wrong. the writing is above average, cinematography excellent, acting is great, the story arcs/character development doesn't waste your time. the series really does immerse you in this world. I particularly appreciate that this show is not woke or does not try to inject social politics or preach the writers values. if you're unsure about starting a new show HALO is 👍 WORTH IT
