I first saw this movie in the fall of 1986 in New Delhi in my freshman year of Physics degree in college. It left a lasting impression on my mind has not faded with time. Every time I watch it, especially the climax, I get the same thrill I got in my first viewing. It is a masterpiece of world cinema. It's s a pity epic movies like this are not made anymore that could introduce today's audience to the beauty and grandeur of great cinema.
