Great portrayal of how close cop partners get--just like in the military. More than family. It's hard to imagine how these officers go out each day seriously not knowing what they will find and if that will be their last day in this world. The stress obviously affects their wives, husbands, kids, etc. For the vast majority I thank them for what they do to protect us. It's a shame a few bad ones, which I would also assume get messed up from the horrors they experience, make it bad for the 99% who are putting their lives on the front lines right in our own neighborhood.

I loved the series and am angry that it didn't continue. No point going into the details of what was so great since they aren't going to continue making it at this point.

Don't waste your time. The film is wwaaayyyy too long and is just filled with excesses that go nowhere and confusing storylines. It's basically about...well...um, I think, a crime that is planned in America during the last days before people in America didn't do these types of crime anymore. Whew, wasn't sure I was going to figure that one out. In other words, even with a pretty good cast and a backstory that is based on some interesting history, the writers missed the mark by a long way. Sad because if it was done right it could have been a very good movie. I'm surprised this was done by Netflix tbh.

Epic period piece, fantastic cinematography, costumes, and battle scenes. Timothy Chalomet played the lead of King Henry subtly at the beginning, building up to a charismatic and strong leader with supporting actors who made the film one of the best out this year.
