Can’t say enough good stuff about this series! If you love Bridgerton you will love this, truly heart wrenching story. I laughed, cried, felt pity, anger and so many other emotions that if I could have watched it in one night I would have. No spoilers so watch it!

I liked it because I wanted to see how the story ended. I couldn’t love it because it was set up so nonsensical, with cameras and all these far fetched characters. No spoilers here so watch if you want but don’t expect a hidden gem. Actors were good and loved the setting.

It was interesting enough to watch but the twist and suspense were just far fetched. I don’t want to give any spoilers so if you have the time or find nothing else to watch, watch it but otherwise you won’t be missing much if you decide to pass.
The actors were far better than the script/plot.

For a first novel this book has a lot! Funny, generational, fantastic writing & book structure, insightful, multicultural, historical, coming of age, scandalous, heartbreaking, etc-it really has it all. The stories from start to finish bounced around in time which kept it interesting and kept the suspense of the final culmination of everything coming together worth it till the very end! Well worth the read and will try something else of Ms Smith’s!

Sadly for me just watched this and it is wonderful!! Great music, scene’s of Philadelphia that are gorgeously shot with dusk/dawn lighting, a romance that is so sweet and endearing and then two great friendships! The boxing was good too!

I think I remembered watching this as a kid and liking it so much more. Watching it as an adult, there are so many things that don’t make sense especially the ending. Worth watching though for the attempt and nostalgia.
