Dying light 2 brings more of what made the first game great; however, it was severely lacking in some areas as well. The jumping felt a lot floatier and unrealistic then the first game, which may turn off returning players. Yet it fits incredibly well in the environment with the inclusion of bars to swing from, higher rooftops and the paraglider. Making the movement feel incredibly smooth and cohesive. The game is still fun with the glory gameplay we expect from Techland, so if you loved DL1 you're most likely going to get your money out of the second one. My two main complaints with the game are the story, which has sub-par acting, voicing etc. It hit the point where I began skipping every cutscene as I just lost interest. The second complaint is with the new editions to the game - and the lack of them. There is an absence of new and enjoyable character skills. Nothing groundbreaking or enjoyable, which I found disappointing. All in all, I'd absolutely suggest picking it up. The new DLC was a blast to play through, with decent story and fun new environment to explore and enemies to fight. If you are looking for a great zombie games, I would highly suggest the Dying Light series.
