the movie was supposed to celebrate disneys 100th year, and it did deliver the celebration vibes, but it felt like it took a lot from a lot of other disney movies. It took elements from other disney movies featuring similar characters and ideas, but they didn’t do a good job blending all these elements together. This movie is good, but not as good as the many other movies this one was intended to celebrate. I love both Ariana DeBose and Chris Pine, but they didn’t deliver the performances they usually have. The casting was for sure amazing, but the way disney attempted to blend the movies together really didn’t work out. So I sadly have to rate the movie 2 stars.
