I like many others have been restless throughout the days leading up to the game, and now that its here and I can say I’m over the moon. The positive’s of this game is a long list, but worth the write as the hard work put into this game is very noticeable just into an hour of playing. First off the graphics are outstanding and mixes well with the warm setting of Mexico. Seeing the different biomes off in the distance while your throwing your car around the bend at 80mph never gets old. And the never ending car selection fits all genre’s suiting all your car needs. If you love tuning cars for certain races or activities then I 100% recommend this game as no other game does it better. Personally my favorites are tuning the car for off-road or touge racing on the volcano. Furthermore the handling on the cars is very well put together as each car has its own unique way of driving, and tuning that to fit race type is always satisfying. Overall if you're looking for a car experience on a beautiful open world map made for all types of racing then this it. However the one problem I have with this game is the stories and new accolade system. The stories in FH5 are the same as all the other game’s and can really be a bore, it hasn’t given us anything new and I feel like I’m playing the old games again. It holds all the same challenges we’ve seen a bunch of times already and I just wanted to complete them as fast as possible to get them over with. And the accolade system isn’t as bad as the stories, as it gives you some type of accomplishment not really seen in other Horizon games. However there are a lot of stupid and tedious accolades which you can get in the game such as having to complete an off-road drift zone in a modern super car which isn’t fun to complete and just wastes my time. And in the end I couldn’t of cared less that I gained it. Not only that, a lot of races have there own unique accolades to collect which requires you to do the race multiple times. So when that race is on the volcano you’ll find yourself driving up it 4 or 5 times just to do the race again. But apart form that the game is a blast and worth playing, especially if you like cars or want to get into cars. Just take it from someone who’s been through the torture of collecting all the accolades that it’s not worth your time( just play the game how you want to)
