Supposedly a study of women’s desire. For all the years of research, there is so little of substance. Three white American women, one of whom sleeps with men to satisfy her husband (so, not HER desire but his), one who is furious that her teacher groomed her (ditto), and one who escapes from her tedious life by being in thrall to her boyfriend from high school, who treats her like a sex toy and little else. Not so much desire as a crushing lack of self-esteem and potential.
