I know everyone isn’t a fisherman but the producer and director have never held a Marlin rod or been In A Marlin tournament and it shows . Fishing with one athetically small Rod fishing at standstill in a Marlin tournament - blew it for me , I know it’s an orphan story but the lack of anything near a legitamate detail in the tournament made me turn it off . Insulting to fishermen everywhere . Wouldn’t have been that hard to make it slightly realistic and they just didn’t care enough about the movie to even try .
