Excellent use of black and white film format to capture the structural beauty of Italy and the intensity of the characters. The story is multilayered and beautifully complex in its unraveling. I recommend this series to all who love a good “who done it” and why? And for the great camera, photography and creative use of cinematic techniques showcasing Italia; and the gripping, accompanying musical arrangement. Andrew Scott as Tom Ripley and Dakota Fanning as Marge Sherwood are BRILLIANT!!
