I expected more edge of your seat suspension like the first movie. But all we got was more of the same. The only difference was the ending, which told the audience that there was going to be a chapter 2. I must be a glutton for punishment, because I probably will go see chapter 2. You how the saying goes: curiosity killed the cat.

I enjoyed Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. The movie's plot developed at a pace that kept me wanting more. The ending left me hopeful that there could be another sequel in the making. But that's just my opinion. I've been a fan since Charleston Heston and Roddy McDowell Planet of the Apes movies.
