My life fades and my soul grows weary but I push on so that I may warn others about my experience. Where does one begin with this...this thing, this manuscript of cruelty and hedonism? Everything in it is everything wrong with mankind condensed into 271 pages of utter spitefulness and misery. I read things that are so perverse and shocking that I feel unclean even thinking about the cover of this book. Originally, I picked up this book thinking that it would aid me in my college english course but when I began to read it, I bore witness to a tome of occultism that holds knowledge not meant for mortal men. It holds the dark secrets of the universes origins as well as the inevitable triumph of evil over good. I could have put this book down and moved on after I was met with the sentence: "Read on and be shown the secrets of time but be warned that you shall be sent shrieking insane." I foolishly ignored the warning and I learned about "Leviathan" a god bent on the utter annihilation of order and sanity. I learned of Leviathan's dark crusades bent on extinguishing everything from the universe. I read of planets being destroyed and civilizations bearing witness to Leviathan's utter inhumanity. I read about the universe being torn asunder to make way for a new one that will be bent and contorted into a spitting image of Leviathan's true form. Leviathan now comes to me in my dreams and it shows me vile things that make my body quiver and convulse in pain. All the dreams are the same and they all start in pitch blackness. I am alone in ceaseless silence until Leviathan comes and it reveals its true form to me. I cannot describe Leviathan's true form but I know for a fact that it was wrong on every level. It then bombards my mind with every act of cruelty that I have done to myself and others. All throughout this experience I remember the final words that this book spat at me, "And you wanted to know, now you know all there is to know, let Leviathan love you forever." I pray that this review can warn others to stay away from this vile string of obscenities that masquerades as a novel.
